First, the recipe. Why? Go to any Star Trek BB and "How do you make Romulan Ale?" is a regular question. On the show, they use blue Gatorade, since the actors of course needed to stay standing. THIS recipe, however, comes to me courtesy of the bartender at the ST 30th anniversery convention in Burbank, CA.

1 part each vodka and Blue Curacao to two parts Sprite, 7-up or my favorite, San Pellegrino Limonata.

This drink is sneaky, It goes down like soda pop and kicks like a mule. Slightly citrusy. We LOVE it.
tWe admit, the only reason it got into this blog was the word "ale" in the name, and our boundless Trekkiness.
